Modern systems — one concept

Importance

TL;DR

The system separates inner importance (inflating your own significance) from outer importance (inflating the significance of an object or goal), and treats both as the main source of excess potential.

The system separates inner importance (inflating your own significance) from outer importance (inflating the significance of an object or goal), and treats both as the main source of excess potential.

In Russian. важность — the original term; English and Polish editions do not always render it the same way.

Where the idea comes from

The split into inner importance (inflating yourself) and outer importance (inflating the thing) is the author's arrangement. The underlying move, lowering the stakes you attach to a single result, is close to what acceptance and commitment therapy teaches, and that has clinical trials behind it.

What you can actually check

Lower it on exactly one thing this week and watch what changes in how you act. This is the single most testable instruction in the system, and the one most likely to work.

What it does not settle

The distinction is useful and the diagnosis is often accurate. What is missing is any measure — no way to say how much importance is too much except after the outcome is known.

Fair questions

How do you reduce importance in Reality Transurfing?

By deliberately lowering the weight you put on one outcome, not by pretending not to care. The practical test is whether your next action gets simpler and happens sooner.

Is lowering importance the same as not caring?

No. It means caring less about one particular result while still acting. The distinction matters, because the passive misreading turns the idea into a way of avoiding disappointment rather than getting anywhere.
