Reality Transurfing:
the concepts

TL;DR

Ten ideas carry the whole system: the space of variants, the current, pendulums, excess potential, importance, inner and outer intention, slides, the wave of fortune, freiling, and the split between soul and mind. Each is stated plainly here — with what it does not settle.

Reality Transurfing runs on about ten ideas. Below is each one stated plainly — what it claims, in ordinary language — and under it the line this site puts under every source it handles: what the claim does not settle.

Two of these ideas are worth more than the system that carries them, and the entries say so. That is not a concession; it is the point of dating things. A good rule does not become better because it is attached to a field, and does not become worse when the field is removed.

  1. The space of variants przestrzeń wariantów

Every possible version of a life is held to exist already, as a kind of standing field of options; living is recast as moving toward a line rather than causing an outcome.

What it does not settle. No test is offered. Nothing distinguishes a variant that was selected from one that would have happened anyway — and that distinction is what the whole claim rests on.

  2. The current of variants prąd wariantów

Within that field, events are said to follow lines of least resistance; the counsel is to move with the current instead of forcing a path across it.

What it does not settle. Nothing says how to identify the current before the fact. Read afterwards, whatever happened becomes the current — which makes the advice unfalsifiable rather than wrong.

Full entry: The current of variants →

  3. Pendulums wahadła

Groups of people thinking alike are said to generate energy-information structures that then feed on the attention of those same people and act against their interests.

What it does not settle. No boundary is drawn between a pendulum and an ordinary institution, and no evidence is specified that would show one exists. As a description of how movements capture their members it is sharp; as a claim about the world it cannot be checked.

    Full entry: Pendulums →

  4. Excess potential potencjał nadmiarowy

Attaching too much weight to something is held to distort the field around it, calling up forces that restore balance — often by destroying the thing wanted.

What it does not settle. The mechanism is asserted and never specified. The practical counsel survives without it: caring less about a single outcome is old and defensible advice, with or without a field.

    Full entry: Excess potential →

  5. Importance ważność

The system separates inner importance (inflating your own significance) from outer importance (inflating the significance of an object or goal), and treats both as the main source of excess potential.

What it does not settle. The distinction is useful and the diagnosis is often accurate. What is missing is any measure — no way to say how much importance is too much except after the outcome is known.

    Full entry: Importance →

  6. Inner and outer intention intencja wewnętrzna i zewnętrzna

Inner intention is effort applied directly to a goal. Outer intention is described as allowing the world to deliver it, and the system treats the second as the operative faculty.

What it does not settle. No boundary is given between outer intention and ordinary patience, timing or luck. Without one, every success confirms the system and no failure can contradict it.

Full entry: Inner and outer intention →

  7. Slides slajdy

A slide is a deliberately held mental image of the desired situation, rehearsed until it stops feeling foreign. The emphasis falls on repetition and on the image feeling ordinary rather than longed for.

What it does not settle. This is visualisation, and it has a documented psychological literature that the books do not engage. Whether the image acts on the world or on the person holding it is exactly the question left unaddressed.

    Full entry: Slides →

  8. The wave of fortune fala powodzenia

Favourable stretches are said to arrive as waves that can be joined or missed, and gratitude is described as the way to stay on one.

What it does not settle. Nothing specifies how a wave is recognised while it is happening. Identified in hindsight, a run of good luck always looks like a wave — which is a description of memory, not of events.

Full entry: The wave of fortune →

  9. Freiling frajling

A rule for dealing with other people: stop trying to obtain something from them, shift attention to what they want, and let your own aim arrive as a consequence.

What it does not settle. This one needs no metaphysics at all. It is a plain and effective social principle, and it works whether or not the space of variants exists — which is worth noticing about a system that presents it as a consequence of the field.

    Full entry: Freiling →

  10. Soul and mind dusza i rozum

The books separate a calculating faculty (mind) from an intuitive one (soul), and hold that goals chosen by mind against soul lead to well-executed wrong lives.

What it does not settle. No way is given to tell the soul's voice from wishful thinking, fear or habit. The warning is real and the diagnosis is often right; the instrument for making the distinction is not supplied.

The shape all ten share

Read the second lines together and the pattern is hard to miss: the claims are built so that no outcome can count against them. The variant was chosen or it was not, the wave was joined or missed, importance was lowered or it was not. Every result fits, which means no result tests anything.

Two entries break that pattern — freiling and, in part, importance. Both are ordinary social and psychological counsel, both are checkable against your own week, and neither needs the metaphysics wrapped around it. If the system has durable value, it is concentrated there.

Where these ideas come from

The family is New Thought, the early twentieth-century American current that also produced Atkinson’s Thought Vibration, or the Law of Attraction in the Thought World (Chicago, 1906) and, two years later, the Kybalion. Directed attention shaping outcomes, unseen structures feeding on collective belief, a vocabulary borrowed from the physics of the day — all of it predates Transurfing by roughly a century.

The pendulum is the genuine addition. A structure sustained by the attention of the people it harms is not a New Thought idea, and it is a sharper account of how movements hold their members than most of the shelf provides.

Fair questions

What are pendulums in Reality Transurfing?

Structures said to arise wherever many people think alike, which then feed on the attention of those people and work against their interests. It is the system’s most original idea and a sharp account of how movements capture their members — while remaining a claim no evidence could contradict.

What is the space of variants?

The proposal that every possible version of a life already exists as a standing field, so that living means moving toward a line rather than causing an outcome. Nothing in the system distinguishes a variant that was selected from one that would have happened anyway.

What is outer intention in Transurfing?

Inner intention is effort applied to a goal; outer intention is described as allowing the world to deliver it, and it is treated as the operative faculty. No boundary is offered between outer intention and ordinary patience, timing or luck.

What is excess potential and importance?

Importance is the weight you attach to yourself or to a goal; excess potential is the distortion that weight is said to create, calling up forces that restore balance. The diagnosis is often accurate; no measure is given for how much importance is too much.

What is freiling?

A rule for dealing with people: stop trying to get something from them, attend to what they want, and let your own aim follow. It needs no metaphysics, works on its own terms, and is arguably the most useful thing in the system.

Are these concepts ancient or Hermetic?

No. The system began circulating in 2003 and this family of ideas descends from early twentieth-century New Thought, not from the Hermetica. The full dating is on the main entry.
